Where is a regulator located on a motorcycle?

The regulator is usually on the right side of the engine, near the stator. It will usually have either red or yellow wires coming out of the top of it. Getting to it or seeing it can sometimes be difficult because the battery may be close or in the way.

That depends on the motorcycle you have. On most bikes, the regulator is located underneath the buddyseat, Other bikes have them at the inside of the frame underneath the gastank. The regulator is always located in a place where it gets cooled by some rinding wind.

The regulator will be located either under the buddy seat or on the frame under the tank, located on the frame to be cooled by the riding wind.
