Where does the saying Actions are stronger than words come from?

You might have this quote a little wrong. Mark Twain said "Actions speak louder than words but not nearly as often". I think he meant that when you talk about doing something it is not nearly as good as doing somthing about it.

For sharing the emotional thoughts with the loved ones or the needy people ( like patient, criminals, orphan) The action are very stronger than words. The action may speak more than the words
