The Rockit Room is one of the up and coming clubs for local and international artsts. You also have The Fillmore, Slim's, The Independent, DNA Lounge, and The Great American Music Hall.

You can hear live music in San Fransisco in such venues as Great American Music hall, DNA Lounge, Filmore, Paradise Lounge, Mighty Galleries, Cigar Bar and grill , Annies social club , Bimbos , Boom boom boom, bottom of the hill, cafe du nord , Elbo , el rio and Hemlock tavern.

There is Elbo Room, Slims, Great American Music Hall,Greek Theater(Berkeley), Amoeba Music, Cafe du Nord, Rickshaw Stop, Popscene, The Independent, The Warfield, Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, Kabuki Theatre, Bimbo's 365 Club, Bottom of the Hill, Bindlestiff, The Depot(San Francisco State Univ), 12 Galaxies, PoundSF, Thee Parkside, and the legendary venue, The Fillmore.

The Great American Music Hall in San Fransisco is a live music venue. They have even one awards from the San Fransisco Weekly as "The Best Place to see Live Music".
