When your dress code is business casual, what do you wear?

I'm a woman.

A smart pair of trousers (not jeans) or possibly a pencil skirt. I would opt for a blouse that you are comfortable in and no suit jacket. I would tend to wear flat shoes (unless you are comfortable in heels). It also depends on your business - I have presumed it is an office type business.

For women, business casual attire usually includes a nice pair of slacks or skirt and a nice blouse. The word casual means that a suit set or a jacket does not have to be worn. Jeans are usually too casual however unless you are having a real dress down day.
