The best time to repot is either early spring or early to late fall. Depending on your location, you can move the plant outside once the danger of frost has passed. Plants have a dormant period (grow more slowly during the winter),so don't use too big a pot.

If this is an indoor plant, any time of year is fine. If it is an out door plant, then either just before, or just after your local rainy season. The key to repotting desert plants is the size of the pot and drainage. A pot no more than two inches bigger than the original is needed.

I would repot the plant as soon as it starts getting too big for the pot that it is in now. You have to give it room to grow.

The fall is actually a good time to re pot this plant. You need a dry temperature to allow the soil to cultivate thoroughly into the plant. Also, please be careful with the water patterns.

There is no any particular for repoting a desert plant. At any season you may repot it. As far as possible, avoid depoting during rainy season because it is a desert plant which donot require any water to grow. After depoting, put tiny rubble stones around the pot.

As far as I knw the only time you will ever need to repot them is when they get rootbound because the container they are in is to small for them then you just repot them into something bigger with more soil in it and most of the time they will show no signs of distress.
