What's wrong if you keep waking up and can't fall asleep?

I fall asleep at first just fine, but I wake up an hour later.

You may consider cutting your caffeine intake during the day. That will help you sleep more soundly. Also, some light exercise followed by a thirty minute period of rest to normalize heart rate may help you to rest heavier. Another suggestion is not to take a midday nap, as you will want to be as tired as possible at night.

Constantly waking up after you fall asleep can be the result of insomnia. Insomnia is a condition in which, after falling asleep, one continues to wake up and cannot maintain a regular sleep schedule. There are various medications and other treatments for people suffering from insomnia. This could also be the result of other medical conditions.

you should go see a doctor first but i am pretty sure that is called insomnia try not to watch tv 2 hours before you go to sleep and read more books

Your sleep is very shallow and you do not go into deep sleep.This may be caused by your nerve system problems.Or you are short of vitamins.Remember to have a balanced life between work and rest.
