What's the difference between a Gameboy and a Gameboy Advance?

game boy was an earlier handheld system. Gameboy advance has smaller cartriges and is newer. Advance will play games made for gameboy but the older gameboy will not play advance games. Gameboy also has buttone below the screen where advance has buttons to the sides. Advance games had more graphic quality and colors then gameboy.

gameboy is 8 bit and gameboy advance as 16 bit i think game boy advance is allot better the game boy has some good thing but the advance is way better
