What's the difference between a Democratic and a Republican voter?

I would like to know some basic platform ideals for each of these parties in the United States

A Democrat wants complete government control. A Republican want free speech and the right to decide anything and everything. It is a free country!

The main difference between Democratic and Republican voters in recent elections has been that the Republicans have lost all grip on reality. Their party has been taken over by religious fanatics and obstructionists who will attempt to derail any program the Democrats try to promote.
