I think one of the best yoga positions to improve your posture is Downward Facing Dog. This pose does a lot to stretch and strengthen your shoulders and upper back, so if you do it regularly, it makes good posture feel a lot more natural.

Practicing yoga can certainly help improve your posture. Yoga will help you to be more aware of your body movements and position, and will also strengthen the muscles in your back and shoulders if you do the right poses.

It's necessary to have a strong core to have good posture. Yoga as well as pilates will help with this. Poses that twist the core or resemble 1/2 sit-ups will strengthen it. Both the lightening pose and tree pose are especially helpful as they engage the shoulders as well as abdominals.

Pretty much any yoga position will help your posture. The trick is in doing them correctly. Try to take a class or private session with an instructor who will make sure you're doing the poses right.

Yes, yoga will definitely help improve one's posture. In particular, yoga stances that strengthen one's core are the most helpful, as it's the core muscles that do all the "heavy lifting" in keeping your back straight and stomach in.

One of the best ways to improve your posture with yoga is to focus on exercises which will build flexibility and strength in the back. These include the cobra, dog, cat and bridge.

Almost any type of yoga will help improve your posture as yoga concentrates on strengthening your core muscles (abs, back, etc.). Some of the best poses include mountain pose, back bridge and cat-cow stretch.

Yoga can improve posture because the body is strengthened though the different positions you are practicing/going through during a class or a video. Overtime muscular strength will go up. There are better exercises like back extensions, but you would have to go to a gym to have the right equipment to that these.
