What were the alliances in World War 1?

Was there anything beyond the Axis and the Allies?

Yes, there was the Triple Entente, an agreement between France, Britain and Russia to aid each other, and the Triple Alliance between Germany, Austria and Italy where each agreed to help the other if they were attacked. There were other minor alliances as well, but these were the big ones.

France, The British Empire, The Russian Empire, Italy, The United States, Japan, Romania, Serbia, Belgium, Greece, Portugal were allied against The German Empire, Austria-Hungary, The Ottoman Empire and Bulgaria. Sometimes the Axis powers are referred to as the Central Powers.

The Entente Powers were Great Britain, France, Russia, assisted by the United States, Portugal, Japan, and Spain. The Central Powers were comprised of the German, Austro-Hungarian, Ottoman Empires, and Bulgaria.
