The God Machine, Razor's Edge, Babel-17, Towers of Turon, The Green Brain, Vulcan's Hammer, Close to Critical, Captives of the Flame to name a few.

There are several but they are very simplistic in their vision; some of my favorites are the Danny Dann series (space investigator series), When Worlds Collide and its sequel After Worlds Collide, Babel 17, To Live Again and Stadium Beyond the Stars. Any of these would be a great read.
