Only one U.S. coin features J.F. Kennedy - the Kennedy half-dollar, which was first minted in 1964. J.F, Kennedy was featured on the half dollar. It was ninety percent silver and was minted in only one year. These half dollars were the last ninety percent coins produced. In nineteen sixty five, the US decided to remove all silver from coins dimes and quarters making american money worthless.
