The first step is to make sure you are using the correct sewing machine settings. For organza, a new, fine, ball-point needle (size 11-14); polyester thread; and a stitch length of 12-15 will work best for most garments using organza.

I have found some good results by first washing the fabric. Then, I use some spray starch on the area that I am going to be sewing, it will wear off by the time you are done sewing. Try using a light to medium size needle and longer stitch length. I always practice on a piece of scrap.

Wash the organza before you begin working on it and use a new 11 to 14 needle. Also, use a long stitch length and french seams.

Though it is easy to sew, the construction lines on hem and the seams will show on organza because of its thinness. It will be easily damaged by the feed dogs of the sewing machine. be careful while sewing.
