DDR2 memory is used by a wide range of late model motherboards in PCs. The PC3200 refers to the bus speed available. Not all motherboards support all brands, types and speeds of memory. Be sure to check with the motherboard manufacturer to see which motherboards will support your memory stick.

You have to have ddr2 ram slots on your board because ddr is not compatible with ddr. It is possible to mix ddr with ddr2 but the slower ddrs win.

PC3200 is a format of RAM. To use it, you need a motherboard with a RAM slot that is compatible with that format.

In order to use your DDR2 memory you need to have a compatible motherboard that has the following compatibilities: memory slot type has to be DDR2, it must be capable of accepting memories the size of the one you want to use(which you did not specify).

You must have a motherboard that is capable of handling DDR2 Memory. As the slot that the memory goes into will be different for the different types of memory.
