say "hello, your call has been forwarded to (your town)'s police station. your number has appeared too many times on our server and if it appears once more your phone number will be deleted. thank you" and hang up! always works haha!

Nothing. You should just hang up. Prank phone calls are usually made by people seeking attention, and by talking to these people you are giving them attention. By hanging up on a prank caller as soon as possible, you are not giving them what they want, and therefore, they will most likely not call you back.

You should say nothing when you get a prank call. People prank call to get reactions from the people they are calling. By hanging up without saying anything to them, you will deprive them of the amusement they are seeking. As long as the calls are not of a threatening nature, ignoring them is the best course of action.

blow a whistle down the phone. this is hilarous and the prank callers will get a fright and never call again haha!!!

Ask who is calling, first of all, to make sure that it's not a family member or boss calling from a different phone than usual. Once you know for sure it's a prank call, tell the person to stop being so immature and find something more useful to do with his or her life.
