Look for a grill with stainless steel burners and a limited warranty in case something goes wrong with it. You may also want a grill with a warming rack for quick heating and a side burner so that you can cook multiple things. A grill that is easy to assemble is great too.

I always live by the saying "you get what you pay for" so the first thing I would look at is the price. If it's some cheap grill then there is no way it will be any good.

When purchasing a propane grill points to look for would be types of ignitions, size and price. Also Look for safety warning for each one as they may be different.

Well, always look at the warranty and look at the features: how much power, watts usage it is, cooking surface, charcoal container and what not..

When looking for a propane grill, it is important to take note the quality of construction that the grill has. Cheap grills have a somewhat flimsy construction. The burner should also distribute heat evenly throughout the grill. Small grills use less gas. With a little help and commonsense, shopping for a grill can be a rewarding experience.

check out the connecter and how much gas it actully uses. For something like that you should go with the bigger brand names that are known to be safer. There is also diffrent types of propane.
