One main concern about keeping your dog in the garage is the temperature especially in the hot months. Keep a thermometer in your garage to make sure it doesn't get to hot. Provide your dog water and toys. Remove any safety hazards.

You need to make sure that there is adequate ventilation. the garage does not get too hot or cold depending on the time of year. Plenty of water to drink.

Be sure to remove anything and everything that may pose a risk to your dog. A dog will most likely become very bored and look for things to chew on. Boxes, bottles, tools, electrical cords, etc. should all be removed. Also leave plenty of toys and fresh water. Depending on where you live, it may get very warm inside.

I would make sure that it is well ventilated. I would also make sure that it has at least 3 bowls of water and one bowl of food. I would so make sure it has some toys to play with.

A garage can be full of things for a dog to ingest or obstacles to get hurt on. A dog should have a safe area, preferably with a pen and dry area.

Since the Garage floor can get cold make sure he has a place like a dog bed to sleep. You probably want to put him in a pen of some kind so he doesn't get into anything like chemicals.
