Herpes Type II is a highly contagious virus that is transmitted through saliva and sexual contact. It can cause very painful sores on the mouth, genitals, and buttocks. It is diagnosed by sampling the sore or by a blood test. You can take antiviral medication when you have an outbreak.

You can spread Herpes Simplex Virus 2 VERY easily. You can actually spread it even if you use protection so make sure that you are taking your Herpes medication and that you fully avoid sexual intercourse and oral sex during the periods where you are having an outbreak. Wear loose fitting clothing when you're having an outbreak.

Herpes 2 is a sexually transmitted disease caused by a virus. A person becomes infected after sexual contact with someone who has this. Some of the symptoms are lesions and blisters in the genital area. The lesions are painful and cause itching. They usually crust over after a short amount of time.
