Cat Food. Most cat food sold in stores is acceptable. If you are very particular then you may wish to choose one sold at a vet or specialty store. Your vet can recommend a good quality food in your area, but they sell food, so beware of the sales pitch.

It all depends on her age if it's a kitten buy canned kitten food and dry kitten food mix it together and just leave it down for her free choice they won't over eat. If it is an adult buy some quality dry catfood and leave her dish down for her free choice and make sure she has water always.

Just be sure to feed your cat plenty of protein. That means the cat needs lots of meat. If your cat is an outdoor cat then it will need milk to keep up its fat content, but don't give your cat milk or at least too much milk if it's an indoor cat. Cats usually know when something is ok.
