Cancers that have been labeled as 'Stage 2' have not yet traveled to other areas of the body, but are showing signs that they will spread soon if they are not treated properly. Stage 2 cancers will usually require surgery with chemotherapy and/or radiation, depending on the type of cancer and doctor recommendation. Stage 2 cancer is considered very treatable.

Depends on what type of cancer it is. Staging varies from different types of cancers, but generally stage 2 has a decent survival prognosis with treatment.

Cancer stage 2 is serious, the sooner you can get treatment the better it is. Sure you hurt and are sick, and bloated and scared, but keep your faith up!!

The stage of cancer depends on the extent to which cancer has spread. In stage two the size of tumour would have increased and the cells may or may not have spread to the lymph nodes. They would have begun encroaching on nearby tissue. Depending on the type of cancer the survival rate may vary from five to ten years.
