You should put the baby bunny back where you found it. The mother often leaves her babies during the day and returns to feed and care for them at night. I know it seems cruel to leave the bunny alone, but that is really the best thing to do.

Well, most people would say leave it alone and tell you that the mommy bunny would not want it after you touch it.

Leave the bunny where you found it. It's difficult sometimes to walk away from them but it is the right thing to do. If you try to "save" it you will most certainly cause it to die. Don't touch the bunny. Chances are it's mother will come looking for it.

If the bunny is wild and not injured you should release it where you found it so it can find it's way back home. Unlike some animals mother rabbits do not push their babies out of the warren when they have human scent on them. If the bunny is injured you should take him to a vet for evaluation.

You should call Animal Control and have the pick it up as you cannot be sure that it doesn't have rabies, or some other serious condition.

If this is a wild baby bunny and you have not touched it- DO NOT! Wait to see if the Mother will come back. If she does not come back then call the Wildlife expert in your area and alert them. Rabbits are very delicate animals in that they are animals of prey and shut down to die when scared.

Well, the best idea would be to leave it alone. More than likely the mother will come looking for it. However, if the bunny has any injuries then my best suggestion would be to call a local vet and see what he or she suggests. Hope that helps.

You need to immediately call a Vet who specializes in small animals and exotics. A baby bunny is very fragile and needs special care.

If the baby has all its fur and drinks and eats on its own then it will be ok it is able to take care of itself just give it fresh water and pellets every day.
