What should I do if my baby box turtle won't eat?

Keep it warm, about 85 degrees using a reptile bulb/lamp and an aquarium thermometer. Check temperature often. They are attracted to red, try earthworms or strawberries, top with turtle vitamins.

Make sure his environment is perfect. Give him lots of room to roam. Also make sure you are feeding him the right thing. Bugs and veggies are key to his health. Keep the temp. around 65 degrees. This is all important for feeding.

When I was younger I had pet box turtles, before they were sold as pets. I fed my turtles earthworms, strawberries, tomatoes & lettuce. Lean ground beef is also good.

These baby box turtles may not eat because they are too cold. These turtles should not be eating if they are too cold. You can try lettuce or bananas.
