What should I do if I get cramps from running?

The reason that is happening it because you are thirsty. You need to either drink lots of water or gatorade. Also remember to stretch a lot before running because your muscles are going to be working very hard.

First you should try stretching at least ten minutes before you start your run. After stretching, begin by walking for a few hundred yards just to warm up. Stretch again after your run and drink plenty of fluids

You usually get cramps when you run because you pushed yourself too hard. What you should try to do is build yourself up to running and not push yourself too hard. Try to walk it off, and drink some water, slowly. Keep trying to move though.

If you get cramps from running, you should definately slow down as far as your running pace. You may want to increase your water intake to combat lactic acid.

Slow down to a walk to work off a cramp. Try stretching your arms over your head, first leaning to the right then to the left. Take deep breaths the blow each one out forcefully.
