Benadryl can be given as an antihistamine. The rate is 1 mg per pound of body weight for the dog. Each pill is 25 mg, so can be given to a twenty five pound dog. This is assuming that the dog isn't having any reactions other than at the sting site, otherwise should be seen by a veterinarian.

Remove the sting as soon as possible. The sting will swell and the puppy may want to sleep, let the puppy rest in most cases the puppy should be okay without seeing a vet. If the puppy becomes unwell and will not eat after twenty four hours then you might have to seek the vet.

Did you remove the sting? After removing the sting keep an ice piece. But bee sting will produce a lot of pain.Keep a little wet soil on the spot as the first aid. This is good for us also.If the animal had beed stung by many bees it is dangerous. So immeditely take the puppy to a vet.

To reduce swelling depending on your puppies size, an antihistamine should be given which can be purchased at costco, human ones are fine. Also ice the area for short periods.
