Minnows don't technically get pregnant, but they do produce eggs. If you change about a quarter of the water in the tank for several days, this should encourage her to lay the eggs. If there are other minnows in the tank, they may eat the eggs or any young that hatch so try to separate them out.

You don't have to do anything for the minnow because they will naturally have the babies. If you want to give the babies the best chance to survive, add some good hiding places for them to your tank. Leafy plants work best.

Minnows lay eggs. The spawning can be induced by changing water in every two or three days. Before they lay eggs we should transfer them in to a separate tank, otherwise the other fishes may eat the eggs or babies.
