The answer depends on the cause of death. If the disease is Verticillium, use a minimum of nitrogen rich fertilizer. If due to aphids (small bugs that feed off of plant sap), treat using organic products available at most stores. If due to scale or other insects, encourage other beneficial predatory insect such as wasps.

First maybe you should water it. Then, if that does not work then maybe try some fertilizer to help it get strong, kind of like giving it a vitamin or two.

Fungus can attack through the tree's own watering system causing wilts. Verticillium symptoms also can kill branches. If not severe, it may be saved. Prune and fertilize with high nitrogen fertilizer. Insects can be controlled by predator insects and organic sprays can be helpful.

For safeguarding the Crimson King maple tree from dying symptoms spray the foliage with the Bt solution or quicker control orthene. The spray would prevent from the natural pest and diseases.

The leaves on the one I bought a couple of years ago for my local hospice have suddenly gone all droopy and are about to fall off. Any reason for this?
