Identify whether the bump is just physical injury or bacterial /viral infection. If it is b a bump a physcial injury apply some ointments or else use antibiotic medications.

The bump on your chin could be a variety of things. Anything from an ingrown hair to some form of growth. Your best bet would be to go see a dermatologist. He could determine what the bump is, and take steps to remedy the problem. It is better to go see an expert than to leave it alone.

Try putting alcohol on it, and if it still is bothering you, go see a dermatologist about it if it's on the skin or your general doctor if it is deeper.
