You can purchase sugar glider food online through various companies. Sugar gliders need a diet of protein, water and calcium. Unlike their name implies, sugar gliders sugar intake should be kept to a minimum, (although they do tend to love the fats and sweets!). Fresh fruits and veggies are also good for them.

Sugar Gliders require protein as well as vitamins and minerals every day. The protein can come from mealworms, crickets, or hard boiled egg mixed with high protein cereal, such as special K,and a little applesauce or honey. They also need one daily portion of fruits and vegetables, such as grapes, apples or carrots. Vitamin/mineral supplements also are necessary.

Sugar gliders can eat almost anything! Fruits and grains are good for them, and they like sugar, too. Nuts, eggs, and insects will help them get enough protein. Try to give them some variety in their diet, including vegetables. You may also want to consider vitamin supplements, and leaving some basic grain for them to eat whenever they are hungry.

A sugar Glider is a wild animal that requires special foods. Trying to feed this type of animal dry or processed foods will greatly damage their health. Bugs such as crickets or mealworms are a big part of a healthy diet. Honeydew, kiwis and many other fruits as well as vegetables are required weekly.

Since sugar gliders are omnivores, you can feed them fruits, vegetables, and some insects too! When feeding fruits, be sure to remove the seeds as some seeds are toxic. For more proteins, try some chicken breasts or hard boiled eggs.

They are insectivores and omnivores. Meaning that they eat insects and meat. During cold months, they can eat saps, gums, and nectars from trees. Make sure heir diet is rich in protein. If in doubt, go to your local pet store. They are always happy to provide assistance.
