What science courses should I take if I want to be a meteorologist?

Courses in all sciences are encouraged for any scientific field. These areas include physics, chemistry, and computer science. Beyond that the specific courses will probably be encouraged depending on any specialty you plan on going into, but I recommend looking at colleges with meteorology programs like Penn State. This means you will be more likely to get the needed training.

In order to be a meteorologist, you should definitely take the obvious meteorology and labs associated with it. Also needed for this job path is a physics background and some chemistry as well.
