Various processes that the body does naturally help to regulate body temperature. The human body has a way to cool itself down by sweating or perspiring. The human body can also warm itself by shivering which increases the heat in the muscles and thus warming the rest of the body.

The hypothalamus gland (which is located in the base of the human brain) muscle contractions, and sweating glands in the skin.

A vital process known as homeostasis regulated human body temperature. If you are too hot, you will sweat and release heat. If you are too cold, you may shiver to suddenly generate some heat. Without this process, humans would have a much shorter lifespan or may not survive at all.
