What records does Cal Ripken hold?

Did he ever play on a team with his son?

Answer by  Brett (7986)

Cal Ripken Jr. is the Hall of Fame shortstop for the Baltimore Orioles, who played under his father, Cal Ripken Sr., who also managed him with the Orioles. He also played with his brother Billy Ripken. Cal Ripken holds many Orioles records, but he is most known for beating Lou Gehrig's record of most consecutive games played.

Answer by  Kurt (4579)

Cal Ripkin set a record for the most consecutive number of baseball games played that stretched over years and years. He played for his father and with his brother for the Baltimore Orioles. Ripken's record of consecutive games played is not expected to ever be broken.
