A genuine mexican jumping bean has a larva that is trapped inside of the bean and that is what make the bean jump but I do not know what kind of bug the larva is from or you can do a net search for it and it will pull more information for you.

Jumping beans are actually thin shelled and sectioned seed capsules which contain a small gray larva. This larva (Laspeyresia saltitans) is consuming the inner seed of the capsule and once done, starts throwing itself against the walls of the shell, thereby causing the phenomenal jumping movements.
