Throwing up green liquid is usually stomach bile. My dog does this when she hasn't eaten in awhile, although it's usually yellow. It might be green from eating grass to self-medicate, to calm his/her upset stomach. Dogs seem to know when they need to throw up to make their stomach feel better!

Is your dog eating grass? Commonly grass will cause dogs to vomit. Failing this explanation green vomit could be mucous or bile, have this issue addressed by your vet to rule out serious causes. Dog vomit is not commonly green, a yellowish tint (AM) indicates bile commonly from "empty stomach syndrome" and feeding a light snack before bed will help.

If your dog throws up green liquid once a week, that does not sound good at all. Since this happens a lot, take your dog to a vet.

You should first clean the bite wound as best as possible. The watch for any signs of nausea or vomiting and lethargy. If any exists, see a vet immediately.
