You need a Togo visa plus your regular (up to date) passport to visit Togo from the US. You can obtain your visa by contacting the Togolese embassy in Washington, DC before you leave the US. You need a Yellow Fever proof of vaccination, and six months of validity on your passport beyond your stay in Togo.

A tourist visa is required for travel to Togo as well as having a valid U.S. regular passport, with at least six months remaining validity.
