Your two biggest dangers are the very poisonous brown recluse and black widow spiders. The rest of the spiders found in Virginia are common house spiders, garden spiders, Daddy Longlegs, and wolf spiders. All are fairly harmless, even if some are big and creepy.

The Black Widow and Brown Recluse are the only dangerous spiders in Virginia but there are •Golden garden spiders •Large orb weavers •Wolf spiders •Jumping spiders •House spiders •Sheet web spiders but those are not poisionous
