I used to have this problem and it turned out to be caused by food and my digestive system. You might check what you are eating before you go to bed and see if you have any other digestive symptoms. In my case, it turned out to be ulcerative colitis.

One reason may be that you're eating too heavy to close to bedtime. You might be suffering from acid reflux. You might want to try sleeping with your head more elevated. If that doesn't work, see your doctor and he can write you a prescription for anti-nausea medication. You might also try to not eat so late in the evening.

It sounds like you have a sensitive stomach. It could be caused by medication your taking at night, that later sets on the stomach causeing the nausea when any food has passed to the GI Tract further along.

Well if you a female, you may want to buy a EPT test and see if your pregnant. If your a guy it might be a sign of an ulcer.
