Birth control can cause random bleeding during the first few months being on a new one. Your body is getting use to it. If it continues discuss this problem with your doctor and try out a different kind that may work better for you since every womens body is different.

It depends on your age and how long you have been on birth control. If you are old it is most concerning for a possible cancerous process.

It sounds like you may need to switch birth control pills. I experienced this same problem, waited another month, it happened again, so I finally went to the doctor. Some pills just do not work with your particular body makeup, and you need to switch to something different.

Although it could just be a fluke, if you have been bleeding for 10 days, it is best to see a doctor to rule out any more serious conditions.

if your having an intercourse with your partner and same time you take birth control and suddenly you bleed i think you should go to hospital because maybe this is a bleeding from a miscarriage, better consult your doctor because this is really fatal.
