Microsoft Word is compatible with a very large variety of computer brands. Word can save documents in many compatible formats, html, doc, docx, odf, pdf. Word is works on both Windows and Macintosh computers. Open Office is a compatible linux alternative.

Word is compatible with almost everything I even think it works on mac. Might take some tweaking but should work just fine. Any operating system for windows can run Word.
