Transubstantiantion is a belief that when blessed, the bread and wine become body and blood of Christ. Consubstaintiation says they are symbols.

Consubstantiation refers to the Lord's Supper as does Transubstantiation. Transubstantiation refers to the elements of bread and wine literally being changed into the body and blood of Jesus (Catholic view). Consubstantiation refers to the elements representing the body and blood of Jesus (Protestant view). These views are constantly argued between religions.
