Without a mint mark, the circulated 1908 Liberty Head nickel with complete rims and readable lettering is normally worth about seventy-five cents to one dollar. However, they could be worth as much as six dollars if the world LIBERTY is quite clear. Uncirculated ones are worth about fifty dollars. 1908 is a common date for the Liberty Head nickel.

It is worth five cents. A coin's value all depends on the popularity of the coin or it's rarity. They also look at the condition of the coin. You need to make sure that the coins are not being used and that they are not in circulation. The coins loses it value if it is being handled.
