The hormone you are thinking about would be testosterone. It is a hormone that can cause aggression and this is one of the causes of some pregnant women being "emotional" during pregnancy.

Excessive amounts of "male hormones" (androgens, such as testosterone) is one of the most common causes of infertility in women. These hormones are released by the adrenal glands and ovaries, and can interfere with the ovulation process, resulting in infertility.
