In florida if the person is caught or proven guilty for vandalism they will usually be forced to pay for the items they have vandalized. Some are also given community service or short jail time depending on how extreme the vandalism is along with what was hurt by their actions.

It depends on the circumstances, the events leading to the vandalism, the record of the individual, the nature of the vandalism and what has transpired since the vandalism. The judge will consider all the facts and determine what he punishment is within the perpmeters already set by the law.

Under the misdemeanor category,fines, restitution. Under the felony category, could recieve the same, with jail time added. Wether or not this is a first offense would be a factor.

Depends on the severity of the case. Most always the preparatory has to pay some sort of restitution for the cost. Other punishments: community service or jail time (30 days).
