UPS brings in extra staffing early in November. The lengthy hiring process starts several months earlier. Depending on the shift, the pay is around $9 an hour.

UPS package handlers usually start at about $8. 00-$10. 00 per hour. Dependent on the shift you work. There is usually a shift differential for working night shift. They offer benefits to full-time employees and generally start you off part-time/seasonal. The hiring process takes a while, so it is recommended to fill out the application now.

UPS package handlers make fairly decent money. UPS hires drivers' assistants over the holidays -- these folks help deliver packages, while the driver manages the route and the timelines of the shift. UPS typically offers around $10. 00 per hour, but sometimes you can get $11. 50 an hour or more.
