In most states, it's a low level felony, and can sometimes result in probation. However, there are serious consequences to pleading to any felony, listen to your attorney.

This depends on the state that you live in and the severity of the crime. Punishment can include fines and a requirement to pay back any losses. It can also include jail time and probation, even up to 25 years in the most severe cases. You should get a lawyer and negotiate a plea so that you know in advance.
