The Night of Broken Glass (German Kristallnacht) was a wide spread attack on the Jewish community in Nazi Germany. It occurred on the night of November 9-10 1938. 91 Jews were attacked 30,000 Jewish men were taken to concentration camps. Synagogues and local businesses where ransacked. It is viewed as the beginning of the "Final Solution".

The "Night of Broken Glass" refers to a time when the holocaust was happening. This is when Nazi soldiers would go around and destroy synagogues. A terrible moment in history.
