It is used for stomach and other digestive issues caused by too much acid production in the stomach. Ulcers, reflux, and heartburn are common conditions for which aciphex is prescribed. It works to lessen the amount of acid produced.

Aciphex is used for digestive problems. It blocks the formation of stomach acid. The drug is sometimes given in short-term treatment to let sores and inflammation in the upper digestive system have a chance to heal.
