A student in the State of Indiana can drop out of school at the age of 16 if they have their parents permission. If the parents will not give their permission then the student has to wait until they reach the age of 18.

In Indiana a student can withdrawal at 18. Requirements for withdrawal between age 16 to 18: a) student, parent and principal agree to withdrawal; b) the withdrawal is due to either financial hardship where student needs to work to help support family, illness, or a court order.

In Indiana, you can drop out of school at the age of 18 without parental consent. If you have parental consent, and consent of the principal, it's 16.

You can legally drop out of school at age 18. It is remotely possible to drop out at 17, but you would need both your parents' consent and there would have to be extreme circumstances like you need to work or you will starve.

they told me i could not drop out of high school until i was 18 and i live in evansville in. can i really drop out at 16 with my moms consent?
