The Bland-Allsion Act of 1878 required the federal government to buy millions of dollars of silver monthly from Nevada, due to the Comstock Lode strike. The Morgan dollars were minted.

Morgan Dollar is a silver United States dollar coin. It is named after its designer George T. Morgan who designed the obverse and the reverse of the coin. The coin's composition is 90% of silver and 10 % of copper. The Morgan Dollar came from America's richest strike,the great northern Nevada. The Morgan dollar struck in 1878. Now,Morgan dollar had genuine star in the coin world.
