The definition of a triangle is a shape whose base is a circle and whose sides taper up to a point.This shape is found in all labs where liquid is measured in litres.This cone shape article is used in chemical labs for mixing chemicals with liquid.In math, students calculate the mass, volume or area of cones.

Take a straight line that passes through the origin (y = mx) and rotate this about the x axis to generate a solid of revolution. A cone is the portion from say x = 0 to x = h (the height of the cone).
