Boys generally tend to weigh more than girls, but on average, your 3 year old should weigh between 27-38 pounds. Any more or less (by a lot) I would be concerned.

A normal weight of a 3 year old child should be around 15 kg. If you think that your child is gaining weight beyond his age, then try to insist him for exercise like cycling running etc.

He should be triple his weight from when he was born. But watch what he eats. Don't start him on boxed foods, french fries or chicken nuggets. Easy but bad.

It depends on a lot of factors, such as your child's gender, height, and stature of the parents. An approximate range is between 27-37 pounds. If one or both parents is very slender, for example, it's normal for the child to be on the low end, or at the high end if he or she is very tall.
